He couldn’t speak anymore, just squeak out broken pleas through his sobbing. N-not he was just w-with me… A few hours ago- can’t he- he’s n-not dead. “I mean not personally, he died about 17 years ago, but I’m his incarnation so how can I help!” Now ‘Korra’ was staring at Zuko with thinly veiled concern. “Korra, are you familiar with avatar Aang by chance?” If he could just find Aang then everything would be fine. It’s kinda hard to miss so I have no clue how you weren’t aware.” Especially with all the assasination attempts happening since he was crowned less than two months ago. Where am… where are we?” Zuko wasn’t stupid, if he was in an unkown location with strangers he wasn’t going to go around giving them his name. “Who are you anyway?” The water tribe girl was taller than Zuko, but she also looked a few years older so he couldn’t exactly complain (he was used to being the tallest, after being part of the gaang for a year). What’s with your clothes? They’re so traditional looking.” Zuko hesitantly stood up, surveying his surroundings. “Get out of the road kid, where did you even come from?” A tall girl dressed in waterbender garb was standing over him. Propping himself up on his elbow, he saw a large rumbling thing that Zuko could only compare to the fire nation’s war balloons. When Zuko opened his eyes, he heard someone speaking to him and a rough, stone-like texture under his body. Then a sharp splitting pain flooded his senses, rivaled not even by the burning inflicted on him years ago. The last thing Zuko remembers was sitting in the unfamiliar desk busying himself with paperwork until he passes out.
